This February, Concert at the Collins brings a breath of fresh air to the Bay Area, presenting the maestro of the guitar himself, Stevan Pasero. Mr. Pasero will be performing at The Sister Caroline Collins, DC Theater at Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory - a new, state-of-the-art 300 seat concert hall in San Francisco. This performance will feature Stevan's solo concert works as well as duets with upright bassist Sascha Jacobsen, trio pieces with drummer/percussionist Colin Douglas and several works accompanied by strings with the dynamic Musical Art Quintet. Stevan's guitar work highlights Latin rhythms, jazz harmonies, classical melodies and an energetic 'joie de vivre' style that is not typically performed by many artists. This is one show you will not to miss! The show starts at 8:00pm. There will be 2 concert sets with an intermission. Libations and snacks will be available at the show. Concerts at the Collins is a new Friday Night Concert & Chamber Music series presenting the best ensembles from the San Francisco Bay Area.

Twelve Shades of Night was written in 12 months, recorded in 12 weeks, mixed in 12 days, and was inspired by the 12 hours of night.
This new album of original compositions integrates Stevan's love of Brazilian, Spanish & American music along with bossa nova, rhumba, flamenco, classical and jazz styles. Stevan's new ensemble features the rhythmic cadences of Felix de Lola on cajon & palmas, the Latin syncopations of Colin Douglas on drums, and the lush string ensemble of the Musical Art Quintet featuring the brilliant string arranger and bassist Sascha Jacobsen.
